Position Summary:

Position exist to win business for Pilot Thomas Logistics through the management of the field sales organization. Additionally, the role is to optimize market coverage, train and coach field staff, and work collaboratively with the regional operations team to maximize the profitability of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Will operate at all times in a safe manner and in compliance with all Pilot Thomas Logistics safety policies
  • Achievement of sales objectives set by Senior Leadership Consult to Pilot Thomas Logistics Customers Delivering sales forecasts and business processes Excellent Communication Skills Work in a Collaborative environment Coach and Mentor Sales Representatives

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Candidate should hold a BS or BA degree and have 5 years of sales management experience, in a relevant market/industry
  • Individual should have a minimum of 5 years of managing field sales teams in an industry that differentiate itself on value versus price
  • Oil Field experience is a plus, but successful leadership of a sales team is a requirement; Achievement of goals and the development of people are critical past experiences needed for this role

  • Ability to build and deploy a tactical sales plan that is effective in achieving the financial goals of the business
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, strong analytic, numerical and reasoning skills
  • Be able to travel 50% - 70% of the work week

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires working in an office setting, long periods of time sitting
  • Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
